A Train’s diverse catalog of music has been heating up the charts this summer. We’re happy to report that several of our artists have reached the top five in their respective genres and we’ve currently got the number one dance song in the US! Check out the full run-down after the jump:
CMJ New World Music is reporting that as of August 16th A Train has three of the top four World Music albums including Konono No. 1’s Assume Crash Position, Vieux Farka Toure’s Live, and Luisa Maita’s Lero-Lero.
Billboard is showing that as of August 21rst we’ve got two of the top four Smooth Jazz songs – Rick Braun’s “Christiane” has reached number three and Chris Standring’s “Blue Bolero” has reached number four.
According to Americana Radio, Peter Rowan Bluegrass Band’s Legacy is one of the Top 5 Most Added albums this month.
Perhaps the most exciting news of all is that Get Far’s “The Radio” featuring H-Boogie has peaked at number one on Billboard’s Dance Airplay Chart in the US.
A Train would like to formally congratulate all of these artists on the response that they’ve been getting on these songs and albums. We could not be more thrilled.
