The 13th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards was an evening lit up by amazing performers, stunning visuals, and winner announcements. A Train congratulates all the winners and wants to highlight the inclusion of its artists below:
Best Folk Album – Lila Downs, Pecados Y Milagros
Best New Urban Music Album – Don Omar, MTO² New Generation (contains the hit “Ella No Sigue Modas” co-written by Juan Magan)
Notable performances of the night included artists Lila Downs and Pitbull:
“But the most elaborate costumes flanked Lila Downs, a neo-traditionalist Mexican singer whose “Pecados y Milagros” was named best folk album; she sang “Zapata Se Queda” with the Colombian folk singer Totó la Momposina and the Mexican accordionist Celso Piña, as a lavish Day of the Dead procession filled the aisles and the stage.” -Jon Pareles, New York Times
